From March 30, 2021, changes will be introduced to the regime of entry into the territory of the Republic of Poland.
Persons entering Poland from outside the Schengen area:
- Are sent to mandatory quarantine;
- A negative coronavirus test performed in the country of entry does NOT exempt from quarantine;
- Persons sent to quarantine may be exempted from quarantine in the event of a negative test result performed in the territory of the Republic of Poland.
- Type of test – PCR or antigen test.
Persons entering the territory of the Republic of Poland from the Schengen area:
- Are sent to mandatory quarantine;
- A negative test result for a negative coronavirus test performed no later than 48 hours is waived. before crossing the border;
- Type of test – PCR or antigen test;
- The obligation applies to persons traveling by all modes of transport –
- individual or passenger transport and in the case of pedestrian border crossing;
- Persons who have already been sent to quarantine may be exempted from quarantine in the event of a negative test result performed in the territory of the Republic of Poland.
- Vaccination frees from quarantine
- Those vaccinated against COVID-19 will be quarantined. This will apply to persons who have been issued a relevant vaccination certificate with a vaccine approved in the European Union.
