The European Commission allocates 9 million euros for psychological assistance to refugees from Ukraine

The European Commission has promised to allocate 9 million euros for projects in the field of psychological assistance to refugees from Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the EC on Twitter.

“Many people need urgent psychological help and assistance to cope with post-traumatic stress disorder. We are allocating 9 million euros from the EU4Health health program to provide psychological assistance and counseling to people fleeing war,” BGNES said in a statement.

According to the EC estimates, the number of Ukrainian refugees in the EU has already exceeded 4 million and continues to grow.
