Russian missiles hit the nuclear research center in Kharkov

In Kharkov, the second largest city in Ukraine, a nuclear research center was shelled. According to the Kyiv Independent Channel, due to constant shelling in the area located in the north-eastern part of the country, the authorities were unable to assess the damage caused to the object.

Russia has been repeatedly criticized for attacks on Ukraine’s nuclear power plants, such as the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant in the southeast, BGNES reports.

Although risky, there has been no release of radioactive material from this facility so far.
