At the Boryspil airport, customs officers detained two Ukrainian citizens who were trying to import a consignment of new iPhone 12 Pro Max smartphones from the United Arab Emirates.
The goods were found thanks to the interaction of border guards and customs officers, who acted according to the information of the operative-search unit of the Separate Checkpoint “Kyiv”.
Gadgets passengers of the flight from Dubai put in suitcases and hand luggage. A total of 25 iPhones with a total valuation of 1 million hryvnias (US $ 37.5 thousand) were found in the luggage of 29-year-old and 30-year-old citizens.
