Danger level II has been announced in the Carpathians: avalanches are possible, do not go to the mountains

Today, December 7, avalanches are possible in some areas of the Carpathians. Because of this, forecasters announced an increased level of danger.

In particular, according to the data of the Ukrhydrometeorological center, today the I level of danger is expected in the highlands of the eastern part of the Transcarpathian region due to precipitation in the form of snow and sleet.

Also, the II level of danger (yellow) has been declared in the highlands of the Ivano-Frankivsk region. Moderate avalanche danger is expected here.

Weather forecast in Ukraine for today

According to the data of the Ukrhydrometeorological center, cloudy weather is expected in most regions of Ukraine today, only in the east there will be changeable cloudiness.

In the afternoon in Ukraine, except for the eastern part, light snow is expected, in the western, central and southern regions – with rain.

In the western, northern and central regions, there is ice on the roads in places.

The temperature during the day in Ukraine will range from 3° of frost to 2° of heat, and in Transcarpathia, Prykarpattia, Odesa and Crimea it will be 3-8° of heat.
