Ukraine is preparing to hold a solemn military parade on the 30th anniversary of the country’s independence.
This was announced by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy at a press conference in Kiev, UNIAN reports.
“August 24 is the Independence Day of Ukraine. There will be a parade for the 30th anniversary of our independence. The parade will be military. It will be large both on land and on water – it will be on the Dnieper, and in Odessa, and in Kiev – on the Maidan”, Zelensky said.
The head of state also said that on the evening of August 24, a big concert of Ukrainian stars will take place at the stadium of the Olimpiyskiy National Sports Complex.
Zelensky said that as part of the celebration of independence in August, the original Constitution of Philip Orlik will be brought to Ukraine for the first time, which everyone can see.
