A US military plane with four people on board crashed in northern Norway, Norwegian media reported, citing rescue services, according to Reuters.
The V-22 Osprey was participating in a NATO exercise codenamed Cold Response when it disappeared from radar at 6:26 p.m.
The plane was performing a training flight and was due to land at 18:00, the weather in the area was bad with deteriorating conditions.
A spokesman for the rescue services said that the probable location of the accident was found from the air after the alarm. The fate of the crew is currently unknown.
