Red Cross Ukraine and ROZETKA have started selling charitable food kits

From today on the ROZETKA website you can pay for a food set with Easter cake, which will be delivered to people from socially vulnerable groups – elderly single people and low-income families raising children with disabilities.

“Easter is a bright holiday that unites and gives hope. And we are sure that it should come to everyone, – says the co-founder of ROZETKA Vladislav Chechotkin. – We have developed convenient mechanics: on the website rozetka.com.ua add a set or several sets to the basket, when placing an order, choose the method of delivery “Red Cross Warehouse” and pay by card online. The holiday set will be delivered free of charge to the address of the person who turned to the Red Cross of Ukraine for help. We ask everyone who cares to join the project, because each such package will give a holiday to those who are not even waiting for it. “

The Easter set included Easter cake, ham, pickles, raw sausage, strong mustard, horseradish and salt. The Red Cross of Ukraine forms and delivers them to the social service, and then teams of social workers and volunteers deliver kits to their homes.

“The Red Cross of Ukraine has been caring for people who have found themselves in difficult life circumstances and need help for 103 years. So on the eve of Easter, together with our partner ROZETKA, we decided to join forces to make this bright holiday come to every home. We are launching a joint campaign that will allow thousands of people from vulnerable categories to receive a charity food kit. Our volunteers will deliver the kits to anyone who needs it, ”said Maksym Dotsenko, Director General of the National Committee of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society.
