In Mexico, stories have been passed down from generation to generation about skull towers that instilled fear in the hearts of Spanish conquistadors.
Then in 2015, archaeologists discovered skulls buried under a building in Mexico City. What they found impressed them and led to excavations that lasted more than five years, which allowed to expand knowledge about the Aztec people.
