“We are completing construction by the third quarter of this year, so we will be 100 percent complete by August, and from there we will give residents a grace period to begin their training. We must be able to accept customers by early 2022,” Ali said.

Work on the project first began in 2016, with land provided by the Abu Dhabi Health Department.

Ali said discussions had taken place with medical staff as well as F&B suppliers.

He said: “We have several interested international health care providers who have kept in touch with us. Some of them have come to the site, they have visited the site and taken a tour, and they are planning to start their business in the UAE, at our facility. We would like to make sure we have the right mix. “

Ali added that they also sought to attract newly established enterprises to the institution. “We are adding this facility to the economy. Any new starter will need to make plans, select land, get a permit and start construction. I save at least two to three years to run any start in health care and around 50 percent of the investment, using the provided infrastructure,” he said.

“There are many local doctors who would like to set up their own clinics, so we also offer smaller-scale clinics, from 200 square meters to 500 square meters for those beginners who want to start their own private practice.”

According to a Kearney report, the GCC e-commerce sector is expected to more than double to $ 50 billion over the next five years from $ 24 billion last year.

The surge in online shopping has forced mall owners to reconsider their offer. A 2017 Wall Street Journal report said, “There will be no stores in the mall of the future,” while a New York Times report quoted the developer as saying, “Dining and entertainment is a new anchor – not Sears, not Macy.”

Ali said the new medical center would act as a community center for the district in northeast Musaffi.

“We are in a place where we can receive patients from all other emirates coming to Abu Dhabi. They have to pass by our area, so when coming from Al Ain, coming from Dubai or the Northern Emirates, you have to go through the city. “The caliph has been carefully chosen where the new capital crosses the road from our institution. It is the new capital for Vision 2030 Abu Dhabi,” he said.

“There is not enough medical services in the city of Khalifa. We have good names that will come, so to any residents of the city of Khalifa, Al-Raha, Bani and Shahbut, except the island of Abu Dhabi and the surrounding area, we are about “minutes drive”.
