An outbreak of an unknown disease with symptoms reminiscent of Ebola has occurred in southern Tanzania, the BBC reported.
At the moment, 13 cases have been identified in the country, which is a popular tourist destination, and three have already died. Scientists are trying to identify the causative agent of the disease. Among the symptoms of the disease are severe chills, headache, general fatigue, and nosebleeds.
The Ministry of Health of Tanzania officially announced that laboratory tests completely ruled out the presence in the blood of patients of the viruses that cause Ebola fever and related Marburg fever.
