Missing tourist boat found in Japan

A ship with tourists on board that went missing in Japan six days ago has been found using underwater cameras.

It is noted that underwater cameras on the ship of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force this morning found a missing tourist boat off the Shiretoko Peninsula in Hokkaido. It is located at the bottom at a depth of about 100 m next to the waterfall.

The Coast Guard has confirmed that the recovered object is the missing KAZU I vessel, which was carrying 24 passengers and two crew members.

Only 14 bodies have been found so far.
