According to Reuters, a rather strong earthquake occurred in the central part of Italy – its magnitude was 5.7.
According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC), the seismic event was recorded at 06:07 local time off the coast of the Adriatic Sea. Its epicenter was located at a depth of 10 km, 64 km east of the city of Rimini.
Information about possible victims, injured and destruction is not yet available. There was no tsunami threat.
