The seventh wave of COVID-19 began in Israel

According to The Jerusalem Post, the seventh wave of COVID-19 is gaining momentum in Israel. Coronavirus departments in hospitals have reopened in the country.

So, on the eve of Israel, 11,400 cases were detected, and over the past week – 68,000. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4.3 million cases of COVID-19 infection have been recorded in the country, of which 10,900 have died.

According to the Israeli Ministry of Health, 91% of seriously ill people are over the age of 60, but the vast majority of those infected have a mild illness.

The agency does not insist on the return of the mask regime on-premises and public transport but recommends that citizens wear masks.
