At least 25 people have died in India after a pilgrimage bus crashed into a ravine, India Today reports.
The accident occurred in the state of Uttarakhand in the north of the country yesterday, June 5. A bus carrying 28 pilgrims from Madhya Pradesh plunged into a ravine on its way to the Hindu holy city of Yamunotri in the Himalayas.
The rescue operation continues. The wounded were taken to the nearest hospital. Local authorities are investigating the incident.
