Thailand’s first space-themed hotel will feature 490 rooms, each with special star-like ceiling lights and colorful Northern Lights headboard lighting.
Guests of the new Grande Center Point Space Pattaya can choose from basic Space Deluxe rooms with a king-size or double bed, Bluetooth speakers, and a bathroom, to Space Suite Connex rooms with two bedrooms, balconies with sea views, and a bathroom with a jacuzzi.
The futuristic furniture and curved walls of the hotel are reminiscent of a spaceship, and each room will be covered with a “galactic” carpet, and the ceilings will be illuminated by stars.
The hotel has its own huge Space water park with an area of 11,500 square meters. m, divided into four zones.
There is a mountain area with a cave and waterfall, a jungle hot tub and a 330-meter lazy river, and a flying rock area where kids can zip through two water troughs.
You can ride down an 8-meter slide, or spend time on an outdoor playground with a sandbox and a trampoline.
The next zone is the “Space Pirates Beach” with artificial sand and waves, as well as the planet zone with a children’s pool and an amphitheater.
The fun doesn’t end there – there’s a mini space golf course inspired by the solar system nearby, as well as a giant tree in the center of the water park, where special nightly light shows will take place.
Food is also promised not earthly. Choices include the Orbit restaurant, the rooftop Luna and the Oort cloud tea room, which offers a “modern take on afternoon tea”.
I must say that this hotel is not the first one built in the space theme. Earlier this year, Disney World Orlando launched a brand new thrill ride, the Galactic Battlestar, with numbers on spaceships.
