Since April, tourists in Turkey have been promised a relaxation of most of the “antique” rules imposed on hotels. Among them is the cancellation of the buffet from the hotel staff. Note that HES-codes for tourists – a local analogue of QR-codes in Turkey have been canceled – since early March.
This document, or rather a draft document on concessions for tourists, “went” to the Turkish press with the TGA (Turkish Tourism Promotion and Development Agency). According to this project, as many as 15 items of “anti-antiquity” measures can be excluded from the Turkish certificate on safe tourism. And including:
- All-inclusive hotels and Turkish hotels in general will return to the former buffet service scheme. Shop windows and food staff are being “canceled” – tourists will be able to feed themselves again, as well as pour coffee, tea and other beverages.
- Mandatory plumbers at the dinner table will also be removed;
- Disposable tableware will replace reusable;
- Also return regular dispensers instead of one-time “portions” of soap and shampoo at the hotel.
At the same time, the weakening will affect not only food. Tourists will no longer have to measure their temperature, the “social distance” between tables and sunbeds will be abolished, restrictions on saunas and spas will be lifted – now the session is only allowed for half an hour. Information materials about the “cunning rules” will also be removed from the rooms and the lobby, and the mask regime will be abolished on the territory of the hotels.
The official publication of the document in Turkish hotels is expected on April 1. So we can say next season’s “crazy rules” are likely to be forgotten by hotels in Turkey.
