According to tourism industry experts, in July there may be a shortage of vacant rooms in Turkish hotels.
This is due to the growing interest in resting in Turkey from European tourists, in particular, from countries such as Germany, Great Britain, Poland, the Netherlands, for which Turkey was closed last year due to the coronavirus.
As experts expect, pent-up demand for large congress events from all over Europe will work this year as well.
According to tour operators, in July and August, the occupancy of hotels on the coast of the Mediterranean and Aegean Seas in Turkey will reach 90-95%. This figure corresponds to the pre-pandemic level. In some popular hotels, there may be a shortage of places.
