The situation in Attica continues to normalize. According to our embassy in Athens, the road arteries are open and traffic is normalized, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said. Power supply was restored, except in the northern part of the district, where fires damaged the power grid, causing temporary power outages.

The worst situation with fires on the island of Euboea. A large fire between the villages of Galazades and Avgaru got out of control. There is a danger that the fire will reach the resorts of Edipsos and Orei on the northwest coast of the island. At the same time, unregulated fires broke out again near the villages of Gouves, Castri and Asimi. Work to restore electricity continues in the fire-affected areas of the northern part of the island.
In the Peloponnese, the situation near Gortine, Arcadia, is serious again. A number of fires broke out again near the villages of Kapelitsa, Livadaki, Tubitsa and Ilya. The fire near the metropolis in the central Peloponnese is under control.
