An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.2, rated as “devastating”, occurred on Tuesday on the Greek island of Crete.
According to the Athens Institute of Geodynamics, tremors were recorded at 12.24 local time.
The focus of the tremors was located at a depth of 8.2 km.
Information about the destruction and casualties has been reported.
