An earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale occurred on the Greek island of Crete, according to the Institute of Geodynamics in Athens, DPA reports.
According to reports, the epicenter of the earthquake was located approximately 30 km southeast of the port of Heraklion and at a depth of 5 km.
Although it greatly frightened tourists on the island, the earthquake did not cause any damage, the agency said.
