The tombs with artifacts from the Middle Bronze Age were discovered by archaeologists in the municipality of Tetritskaro (Kvemo Kartli region) in eastern Georgia. This was reported by the National Museum of Georgia.
During the excavation of the mound, gold and ceramic products were found. Experts date them to the XXI-XX centuries BC.
All exhibits were sent to the restoration and research laboratory of archeological and ethnographic materials of the Georgian National Museum named after Simon Janashi in Tbilisi.
Now there are preliminary researches, trial processing is begun. The process is led by the head of the laboratory, Dr. Nino Kebuladze.
