Russia’s ambassador to France was summoned to the French Foreign Ministry in connection with the embassy’s Twitter message, which Paris called unacceptable, Reuters reported, citing the ministry.
The Russian embassy in Paris last night posted a photo on Twitter showing a corpse with the inscription “Europe”. He is lying on the table, and the figures standing at the table, representing the United States and the European Union, are stabbing him in the body with syringes.

“These posts are unacceptable. We have made it clear to the Russian ambassador today,” the ministry said.
“We are trying to maintain a demanding channel of dialogue with Russia, and these actions are completely inappropriate,” said the French Foreign Ministry.
