According to the DPA, the Czech Republic has further mitigated the measures imposed due to coronavirus infection.
People who have been vaccinated, tested negative, or have recently recovered from an infection are now allowed to dance again at discos that have been open for some time. Until now, dancing has been banned due to the risk of infection.
Restrictions on the number of people in swimming pools have been lifted. Sports and cultural events can be attended by up to 7,000 people outdoors and 3,000 people indoors with a COVID-19 passport.
The government justifies the mitigation of measures by stabilizing the situation. According to the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control, the number of new infections per 100,000 people in the Czech Republic has dropped to 26.75.
