A magnitude 5.2 earthquake shook the coast of Taiwan

An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale was registered off the coast of Taiwan this morning, TASS reports. The earthquake was discovered by the US Geological Survey.

The epicenter was located 9.3 km southeast of Hualien City, with a population of 350,000 people and a depth of 10 km.

No casualties or damage have been reported so far, as well as the danger of a tsunami.
