Tomorrow is the end of the term when the ITN party, which wished to form a government, must submit to parliament the candidacy of a new prime minister or refuse to take power in the country. However, ITN’s talks with other political forces on the candidacy of the new Prime Minister Plamen Nikolov and the draft cabinet are not over yet.
According to the latest information, on the one hand, the ITN has agreed with the BSP, but common votes from both parties in parliament will not be enough to approve the head of government. If the ITN fails to form a government, it is unlikely that any other political forces in the National Assembly will be able to do so. Then new elections will be called again. According to political scientists, if this happens, the turnout will be lower, and Boyko Borisov’s GERB party will most likely win.
