It will be hot and sunny in most parts of Bulgaria on Thursday, NIMH forecasters predict.
A yellow hot weather code has been announced across the country.
Maximum temperatures will reach 35 degrees.
Cumulus clouds will develop over the mountainous areas of Western Bulgaria and in the afternoon some short-term precipitations are not excluded.
The wind will be light or moderate, from east to southeast.
On Friday in other parts of Western Bulgaria will develop more powerful cumulonimbus clouds, rain and thunderstorms.
There the daytime temperature will be lower. In the East it will still be sunny and hot.
