Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has said that he has no plans to create or deploy nuclear weapons in Belarus or use them “against anyone.”
In an interview with the Japanese TV channel TBS, he rejected the possibility of changing these plans if the situation worsens, BNR reports.
However, Lukashenka warned that if the US, France or the UK placed nuclear weapons in the immediate vicinity of Belarus, he would ask Russian President Vladimir Putin to return the nuclear weapons to the country.
