The bodies of 14 sperm whales were found on the coast of the Australian island of Tasmania, the BBC reported.
Yesterday, local residents found the dead marine mammals and informed the relevant authorities.
Experts reported that they have started an investigation into the mass death of animals.
“The causes are still unknown. It is most likely a mass suicide,” said expert Vanessa Pirotta.
