Finland is the happiest country in the world

For the fourth year in a row, the United Nations has named Finland the happiest country in the world.

For many years, Denmark was considered the happiest country in the world, but now it’s time for Finland. For the fourth year in a row, the European nation was named the happiest country in the world in the United Nations report on global happiness.

The UN World Happiness Report 2021 was slightly different from previous years, focusing on the effects of COVID-19 and the situation of people around the world.

“We had a dual goal: first, to focus on the impact of COVID-19 on the structure and quality of people’s lives, and second, to describe and evaluate how governments around the world are fighting the pandemic. In particular, we are trying to explain why some countries have been more successful than others, ”the report said.
